This was drawn when the main tower at Canary Wharf was about half way up. I opened my eyes to "wide angle", since I was almost sitting underneath as I drew it, craning my neck to look up. The blueness in the building is a kind of protective covering over the silver outer "skin" of the building. This was later removed to reveal the true dull grey metal of the finished tower.
Actually I kind of prefered it in blue!
