The old power station rising above the landscape not far from my home in Reading. Anybody care to get all nostalgic about England's "Green and Pleasant Land?"
Although everybody professes to hate this place, and nobody can doubt that it is a blot on the landscape, it does have a certain majesty about it. The tall columns of steam are visible for miles around, and make it one of Oxfordshire's most visible landmarks. In fact I fell in love with it at first sight.
