The Desert in Dubai

I drew a series of these pictures on a trip to Dubai. I had been booked to go and cut silhouettes at a New Years Party in an hotel there, but managed to find time to do some drawings as well. I was very taken by the huge dirty emptiness of it all, and the almost total lack of respect for the desert environment which was very evident everywhere I went.
